About Duquesa Port

Puerto De La Duquesa is one of the best marinas on the Costa del sol

 

With a wide choice of Restaurants & bars so close to each other there is plenty of choice for good food and a few drinks around the port.

 

A short walk to the west of Puerto de la Duquesa is the litlle fishing hamlet of Castillo de la Duquesa from which marina gets its name.The castle built in 1767 can be visited and is often used for local exhibitions. Nearby are largely unexcavated roman ruins.  In the hamlet are a number of bars and retaurants.  

 

Duquesa Port is situated just between the town of San Luis De Sabinillas & Castillo La Duquesa

It is approximately 25 minutes from Estepona in car or you can use the local Bus which will take you too San Luis De Sabinillas, from the station in Estepona which is located next door to the Exhibtion and Congress Centre on Avenida del Litoral just beyond Carrefour hypermarket.

Marbella is around a 33 minute drive to Duquesa port & there is a local bus service to San Luis De Sabinillas, The Marbella bus station is located a km inland from the centre of the town on the north side of the A-7 ( old N-340) coast road at one of the intersections.

La Linea bus station is only 5 minutes walk from the Spanish border with Gibraltar and as you come out of the front entrance the Rock of Gibraltar is clearly visible. Duquesa port is approximately 40 minutes driving from Gibraltar.
